What are the books that mostly influenced your life?
Here’s a list of mine

The Gospels – that of Jesus is the greatest story ever told
Flannery O’Connor – Wise Blood – can you get any more goth then this novel written in the Southern Usa in the ‘50’s?
T.S. Eliot – Wasteland (1918) – yes, if you like poetry Eliot is even more goth then Flannery
Ezra Pound – Guide to Kulchur (1938) – The essential wisdom of western and eastern civilization – from ancient Greeks to Christian thinkers, from Confucius to contemporary authors
F. Nietzsche – Will to Power – A clear analysis of Europe’s decadence from a philosophical point of view, a tough critique of moralists and the dream of the superman
J. Savage – England’s Dreaming – A good report of the punk situationist revolution, with many hints about McLaren’s absolute radical thinking
D. Curtis – Touching from a distance – An inside very touching report on life and death of IC
P. Rimbaud – Shibolleth, my revolting life – From the hippy era to the anarchist punk project of Crass and beyond
Misery and Purity – the adventure of Death in June, from the punk beginnings of Crisis to the neofolk prospective
